Good Start, Let's Go

Even though it is Monday today, it's a good Monday. The reason why is that I have moved my max on DeadLift up to 450 pounds. Yes Dustin, the bar did go all the way up and my back was arched completely. Only 50 pounds more until victory is won. Slow but sure steps...

Hey There You

Soar as everything from the volleyball tournament yesterday...but it's always nice to scare some guy that's close to 7 feet tall with this white boy's vertical. Just the frightening look was worth it.

Time is Flying

Why are those goldfish hiding behind the filter? They are fed well.

This has brought out the true ones. Thx to those. The others, well it just doesn't matter. And to think this started before the move.

"Then and there that exceeds all we can dream"

The family visit was awesome. Even though I happen to live in this little town of Abilene, the time was great. Thanks to everyone, Mom, Ab, Charlie & Matt, for taking the time off to come down to this place. Now you know I have extra beds for any random trip down here. Ronnie & Kathy, thank you both a ton for spending some time with my family & especially taking us out for some night sailing. The Perini experience was good...Abby, I'm not sure the jalapeno test to get the free jalapeno cheesecake wasn't really worth it if you ask me, but your face turning many colors & you craving bread & anything besides water was kinda priceless. That silly kid & mom who thought the longhorns were friendly needed a big wake-up call, especially that silly mom who thought we were idiots for trying to warn her son to step back.

Matt, the monkeys did put on a nice show for us, those glutons for grass. The giraffe tongue was a nice hit, being more than a foot long and all. Charlie, I've never seen you laugh so much at my siblings' weirdness, but what can I say, it never stops right? Mom, I'm glad you planned the trip out here with the rest of them. It meant a lot to me.

Yesterday marked 2 weeks straight of me deadlifting around my old usual weight around 425 pounds. Not having Kyle around in our usual routine that worked so well for 2 years really does slow this process down. I can't really visit Virginia for a single workout just cause Kyle's there, so blah on that. There's not a single person here in Abilene at my healthclub that practice deadlifting on a regular basis, so finding a workout partner is very hard. All in all, the Adam that grew up skinny as everything is working on that. Speaking of, it's time to eat again.

Overly Grand...with a hurting back

The 2 towers have been reborn...no not those 2 buildings that everyone still whines about...That was just America's wakeup call. No, what I was talking about was the 2 rods that run down my back from the deadlifting. The 420 pound attempt yesterday was a success & wasn't at all that difficult. Tomorrow is Cress day...as my family is flying in for the rest of the week.

Windy & Stuff

Spring has started. Only 1 week & a day away from the visit from the fam. It'll be nice of course. Ronnie I hope you get your ASA things taken care of. The Yacht idea sounds like a good way to go. "Get'em Get'em!" HAHA.

It's all objective-based, life included

Dustin, it's above 400 pounds now for me. Where are you at? I know the last time you talked about it you were at a plateau you couldn't get yourself out of. The 500 lb DL goal isn't far away. With a new recruit upbringing and more on the way, it should be interesting to see who steps it up to keep a position for CAL season with DBAD. Do the objective.
