A Revolution in Nanoelectronics

The Nokia Morph is a flexible, two-piece concept device that can adapt its shape according to the task its user wants it to accomplish. Thanks to nanotechnology, Morph can sense its environment, harvest solar energy, and also clean itself automatically.

Featured in The Museum of Modern Art “Design and The Elastic Mind” exhibition, the Morph concept device is a bridge between highly advanced technologies and their potential benefits to end-users. This device concept showcases some revolutionary leaps being explored by Nokia Research Center (NRC) in collaboration with the Cambridge Nanoscience Centre (United Kingdom) – nanoscale technologies that will potentially create a world of radically different devices that open up an entirely new spectrum of possibilities.

X-Files 2 Trailer Leak

I want to believe.
This is some good news I ran across today. No word if this trailer is legitimate, but I have heard they have been definitely working on the movie. I am not aware of many people outside of the family that are fans of the old series but still...exciting stuff for July. Oh, and Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny are both returning to the big screen as the trailer shows.
The truth is out there.

Museum of Life and Science

After a nice treat yesterday being near home & working at RRMC, this weekend is looking better. On this Saturday(Caturday as I like to call it) I'll be heading up to visit the Museum of Life and Science up in Durham after meeting the family. I'm looking forward to the Nanoscale Science exhibit & of course the Indoor Activities most of all. Afterwards...hopefully we'll find a TV nearby for the Tarheel game against Boston College. Hansbrough has been ridiculous lately so a sweep on BC is definitely possible.

...ready to see the crazy animals, and harass them.

Fro-Hat

Dad I believe you got more a of kick out of this than anyone else. This is genius, very creative, and it may take a little longer to get than a regular hat.

Working from Home...close enough

Somehow I have been volunteered by some upper chalant people near our home office to work at another account next week for an unknown number of days. The account happens to be where I was born, the close to home Rowan Regional Medical Center. It's extremely nice walking into a situation not knowing any details or what reasons have been looked over for a situation like this...just joking. To be volunteered by a group of fellas I've never met isn't too encouraging, but here we go.
The dumb(them?) leading the blind(me) is something anyone would want to avoid, but I'll be close to home...so it's good to go.

Talking Cat

Today I was showing someone one of the best sites on the internet, ICanHasCheezBurger, then somehow got derailed by this video on Youtube...glad I did. Apparently it's back from some old days of America's Funniest Home Videos, but I had never seen this one before.

Music using ONLY sounds from Windows XP and 98!

Everyone is familiar with the sounds that Windows makes, either when you're holding down too many keys on the keyboard or the computer was just thinking for itself & decided to error out for no apparent reason. Right dad? Well, now you can enjoy the sounds of all those effects that are built right into XP & windows of the past in a nicely put together musical piece.

Professional Arm Wrestling, What!

Tonight it was an experience on ESPN2. Little did I know that the leading sports channels on TV were short on programming for the next couple of days. Seriously, it's an All-Star weekend in the NBA plus plenty of college games & controversies to follow. While flipping in between college & NBA basketball I see two 30 minute slots of Professional Arm Wrestling competition. I had no idea this "sport" had been going on for longer than I've been alive. Although, I cannot see this going mainstream or being an Olympic sport anytime soon. Other countries also compete in this PAC sport. Funny...they have a heavyweight class along with the lower weight class, two referees, a special table, and of course their own fan base.
