"Then and there that exceeds all we can dream"

The family visit was awesome. Even though I happen to live in this little town of Abilene, the time was great. Thanks to everyone, Mom, Ab, Charlie & Matt, for taking the time off to come down to this place. Now you know I have extra beds for any random trip down here. Ronnie & Kathy, thank you both a ton for spending some time with my family & especially taking us out for some night sailing. The Perini experience was good...Abby, I'm not sure the jalapeno test to get the free jalapeno cheesecake wasn't really worth it if you ask me, but your face turning many colors & you craving bread & anything besides water was kinda priceless. That silly kid & mom who thought the longhorns were friendly needed a big wake-up call, especially that silly mom who thought we were idiots for trying to warn her son to step back.

Matt, the monkeys did put on a nice show for us, those glutons for grass. The giraffe tongue was a nice hit, being more than a foot long and all. Charlie, I've never seen you laugh so much at my siblings' weirdness, but what can I say, it never stops right? Mom, I'm glad you planned the trip out here with the rest of them. It meant a lot to me.

Yesterday marked 2 weeks straight of me deadlifting around my old usual weight around 425 pounds. Not having Kyle around in our usual routine that worked so well for 2 years really does slow this process down. I can't really visit Virginia for a single workout just cause Kyle's there, so blah on that. There's not a single person here in Abilene at my healthclub that practice deadlifting on a regular basis, so finding a workout partner is very hard. All in all, the Adam that grew up skinny as everything is working on that. Speaking of, it's time to eat again.
