Engagement Snaps
This past weekend, Shannon & Company traveled with me to China Grove to set in place many details for our special date, May 22nd. On Sunday afternoon before we headed back to Fayettenam, I asked Shan's mom to shoot some pictures for me to edit later. Check them out...

Kentucky Travels
This past week was a much needed vacation. Despite the small hill town of Cave City, the family & me had fun. We explored caves on foot & by boat, saw a racy but awesome performance put on by two talented actors in Red, White, and Tuna, and best for last...was out of work. There are many more pictures to be posted, but check out the flickr album of the vacation week. More will be added when the free time comes around.June 10, 2009
Finally...Biltmore 2.0
I have finally got around to finish editting pictures from the Mother's Day weekend daytrip to the Biltmore Estate with Abby & Mom. It was fun. We received a nice gloomy gift of rain while we were walking around the inside for the tour, which added to the effect given off by the huge house. When we were finished with the inside, the rain cleared up for the usual humid afternoon. As usual, Abby was up to no good! Check out the pictures on flickr.

Tea Party Anyone?
Most of these pictures were forwarded to me in an email last week. Enjoy the protests against our radically changing government. Visit this site to see the 10 Most Offensive Tea Party Signs.

August Over...Bring on Cooler Weather
Oh, I posted a ton of photos from Cat & Saul's wedding shoot three weeks ago, a fun night downtown with the family, and the walk around the Botanical Gardens of Fayetteville. Check them out if you want to. The slideshows are the best.

Photos a'Plenty
Just a couple of days past Independence Day & getting some time to head downtown to try out some new things...and this is what happens. Check out my HDR Gallery that has been started on flickr as well as July 4th shots & the rest of downtown mess of Fayetteville. The new lens addition(EF 17-85mm IS USM) is my favorite so far. There wasn't enough time to get into some night-time lapse shots, but that'll come soon.

Panoramics Everywhere
So over the past several years I have taken tons of pictures, especially many panoramic spreads to piece together afterwards. Well starting tonight I put together a ton of them. I will post a lot of them soon, but here is a taste of the span of what can be done these days with a digital camera and the power of a computer. Just as a heads up...these pictures are very large(but I still didn't upload them at their full size) and you might want to have a high resolution monitor to view them on. A few of the pans have close to ten pictures making up the full photo...making the field of view close to 180 degrees. Now that I have an extremely easy process of putting these together after taking them, there will be much more.
With a good stable surface you will get the best results...a cheap tripod will do the trick. Most of these were taken with a steady hand and a lot of work afterwards to make them look right. So, here is one of the largest pans I worked on tonight(early morning).

This picture above is the Half Dome at Yosemite National Park. As you can see, there is a lot more to see than a single shot. Click to see the entire picture...download on the right side of the page and see the full picture.

Pretty nice
Had an awesome weekend, despite recent events around. So, check out the new design here. I got a little bored on the weekend on Saturday and decided to change some things up, add some things, and just make it fresh all over. I'm really liking Google's PicasaWeb photo storage system, hence the image on the left. It'll take you to the entire collection.
